Nox, if he was saying vile things like this to you about your child or partner you would not pass it off so lightly! Remember you were the one who said if a drunk called your your wife a slapper etc. you would go back and "cripple him". Do you not think that what WM pulled off tonight was far more hurtful than calling someone a slapper? How your mind seems to change when it comes to your friend WM. I haven't said I blame you, in fact I am keeping firmly out of the ring in regards to who says what and to what degree. All I'm saying is ignore what you don't like.
I have had people call me a psychopath, jailbird, villain,someone called my deaf son a "millstone in the classroom", a "mongol", someone else suggest that he's a photographer because being deaf he's unable to function "normally" etc etc etc.
You yourself said I was "dangerous" and that "the public should be protected from me", but I IGNORE it all.
I may respond but I very, very rarely rise to anyone's bait.
If you did the same with wardy no matter what he said, he'd leave you alone.
Someone has to start and stick to the ignoring, since you think so little of wardy , why don't you start?

Carakeel, I'm not condoning what he says and you know I was truly sorry to hear about your son, but I think there are times when you have to speak as you find and I agree with dot that yeah Wardy has this huge chip on his shoulder sometimes but there is alot more to him than you are prepared to see.People have offended my family on here as detailed above and worse, not I agree regarding the death of a child and I have the utmost sympathy over what you've suffered, but none the less I try not to give them any more.
I am not in the habit of posting answers I think others WANT to hear, nor am I concerned by whether you think my answer is "wrong" or not ( I try to be more subjective about yours than stating they are "wrong"), nor indeed am I worried by your opinion on my choice of friends, I'd be a very worthless, shallow soul if I was and unworthy of being anyone's friend. I merely think that there are reasons that wardminter is the way he can be sometimes and I feel I understand that aspect of his personality and therefore make allowances for it, where perhaps you will not.
I am NOT taking sides in this , just trying to be fair.

I agree with those who say WM is best ignored and hence will do precisely that. People like him are just not worth the effort. So as long as he leaves me and those I love alone I will indeed ignore him! I really don't want this to go on and on...

the most insulting ABer ever is insulted! i'm shocked - ahhhh well, hope the break gives you time to think about how you treat other people on this forum, i know its just the internet and thus shouldn't really mean anything but as you see words can hurt especially when they are about a sensitive subject so maybe if you do decide to return you can try to help people with their questions instead of venting your anger over unrelated issues through insults to strangers....

Crete, I have nothing personally against you but I stand by what I said regarding the mudslinging that you, ward-minter, carakeel and RATTER do. I have seen ALL of you say things that would be best unsaid, that IS my opinion and I am not going to be drawn further on it. I believe I DO have my facts right and am not prone to making sweeping statements thanks very much, I just state things as I see them, and in my humble opinion you all just wind each other up in basest, most hate filled ways possible.
In any disagreement any of you have with ward-minter (who is NOT without sin in this himself by a long chalk), you can bet your sweet life the other two will be along in a minute to inflame the situation still further, and back each other up, hurling insults left, right and centre a you go.
I don't want to fall out with anyone over this, it's merely my opinion and one that, in the absence of informaiton before me to the contrary, I am sticking to.

Pink, Before wardy was WM with the squiggle, he was WM with the dash. My link on the first page of this thread, shows he was using it in feb, then must have been banned so he used the Squiggle one till now...if that makes sense :-))
