NOX you are missing the point, i and w m have exchanged words in the past but i never commented on his wife so please dont say i did. i can assure you he said extremely dreadful things to me , but my opinion it is over with and i now know how to deal with the situation.

At the beginning of June (when I first happened on AB), before I registered, I remember reading some posts and on one of them was WM with a squiggle in green. Various people mentioned his return, with the usual banter etc. If it was the case that he had been banned, then he registered with the ~ in order to continue posting. On getting his original name with the - back after the ban, WM has kept this for use on any subsequent banning in the future.

Maybe fellow abers have not commented on WM's late wife, but I have seen some nasty jibes aimed at him (albeit in retaliation) about various factors, i.e. his spelling. Two wrongs don't make a right.............

FFS!!!! can this all stop please??? this isnt what this site is about! It is getting really boring now. WM shouldnt have said what he did about anyone's misfortune and loss, and no-one should have rejoiced at his loss either. Can we all grow up now and let this lie????

Well in all the time I've been on here I can honestly say I had no idea that WM had ever been married.or that his wife had died.And now I read about a handicapped child?? Is this all true??

Ward-Minter's wife died very shortly after they got married and I imagine it hit him very hard, know it would have me. I have never heard reference form Wardy about a handicapped child so I can't comment on that Pink, but I do know how twisted and viscious gief can make you, having once wished the whole world would burn in flames after suffering a loss myself. Sometimes grief turns and twists at you until there is very little left of who you are and you just want to shoot the whole world down. I myself have felt like this in the past, and this is what I personally believe Wardy feels when he deliberately harms someone w3ith his words, after tha it just degenerates into a mutual dislike. I am not saying that is ok, I'm just saying I think I understand it and I am prepared to make alowances for that. Loss does not make us kind, it makes us wretched and naz you're no better than anyone rejoicing at another's loss.

I have to say that although the come-backs from WM were more than uncalled for, saying "unlike you I have a partner" was a bl00dy vile thing to say to someone who has lost their wife, so it's not just WM who read the message that way.

It always baffles me why, if a post is annoying /upseting, people bother to respons AT ALL to it. Surely to totally ignore it would be better & would not "play into " the postee`s hands.

Hi Nox - halfway down on here RATTER15 refers to a disabled son of WM'S- whether true or not I do not know.Either way,very sad that it has come to several ABers arguing with such venom.

Personally i'd like to see wardy come back...so long as it was under the terms of a clean slate....i.e we let all this cr@p lie and get on with what this site is supposed to be for...the exchange of personal knowledge with the wider community...

The fact is that when he isnt so vituperative wardy did have his good trait's .i.e spoke his mind and gave a , most defiantly, alternative view point on things.
