whats wrong with me??
17 Answers
I was sitting in the doctors surgery this morning, thankfully there were only a couple of other people in there, and I started crying, got up and came home before i'd even been seen? Am i going mad or was I sub-consciously worried what the doctor was going to say???

I had to have a few tests and I was convinced they were going to give me some awful diagnosis. It turns out I have IBS through stress and this had caused bleeding for me too. It's one of those problems you don't really want to talk about too but trust me, your doc won't even flinch and you will feel so much better for getting it over with.
Good luck and hope you feel a bit better soon. xx

BE WARNED: GROSS SYMPTOMS COMING UP!
My symptoms were, (sorry guys this isn't very nice!) poo's that were fairly thin or diahorrea or 'rabbit poos', varying throughout the day. I was going to the toilet about 15 times a day, in a hurry sometimes all that would come is a horrid mucous stuff. And then yes some blood on occasions, which I was told after having an examination, was internal haemorroids. Whenever I had to have an examination I just completely shut my mind off and focused on something in the room and thought 'loudly' in my head so as to drown out the fact I was in a hideous position!! The docs have seen it all before too so just remember that. You're nothing special, tell yourself!!
Putting your mind at rest is the first hurdle. You will deal with the rest as it happens.
Good luck hun, let me know how you get on and if you want to ask anything else, then do! xxxxx

lyyneylou you really should go to Doctor - I've had similar problems myself, I had to have a colonoscopy, uncomfortable but not painful, an mri (claustrophobic and couldn't complete!) so then had a CAT scan all to discover that I'm intolerant of some foods that irritate my colon. Ironically I eat a healthy diet and what triggered it was sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, so thank you Gillian McKeith!!!
It's always worrying but much better to get it checked, find it was nothing and stop worrying than worrying, not going to the Dr and then having bigger things to worry about later. If it is IBS the continued stress will make it worse.
You cried because it is the stress coming out.
Big Hug to you XX
