Is BO a big deal

I have been told by my colleagues at work that i have BO (Bad Odour) but is it that big a deal. I don't usually put deodrant on as i find i dont like the scents they do and i prefer to smell natural :) . I think they are blowing out of proportion but iu just want your thoughts on the subject.

Hmmm, I had someone at work with the exact same problem and attitude as yours. There are lots of deodarants out there with different smells. Especially with you being a girl, you would think you would want to smell nice. Your colleagues are just letting you know, you should be thankful they havent given you a nickname yet. The girl at our place was called Odoureater...

I htink you quite rude. Do you think they had deodrant in the 18th century?. I just feel more comfortable without any on i i cant smell anything bad at all and its also a waste of money. I think people where i work should get used to it.

So, you want people's opinion but then don't like what you're told, eh?
The fact is, the majority of people don't like the smell of body odour. It's offensive and it essentially implies that the person who has it isn't overly fussy about their personal hygiene.
If you don't like deoderants, at least try washing a little more often.
( and personally i reckon this is a wind up)

Please tell me this is a wind up!!! People who do not take care of their personal hygiene have no respect for others and in my eyes are disgusting! But that is just my personal view.
So dippiblonde, I gather you have not caught on to the fact that we no longer live in the 18th century?
If you don't like chemicals, go to the Body Shop and get a deodorant that is natural. Have a good wash every morning before you go to work and then use the deodorant! There is no excuse for your attitude. It is just wrong!!!

You may find it natural but other people dont, I know people say its your life do what you want, but there are times when its not good to. You are in a work situation where people have to put up with you being stinky. Is no different to picking your nose at your desk, farting etc. people dont like it, would it hurt to buy a can of deodrant and use it!

Your work colleagues would not suffer if you actually kept clean. The odour occurs as sweat reacts with bacteria and air to creat the pong.
If you really are against deodourant than at least wash often, its gross.

yep it is a big deal these days its so easy to get stuff to stop you smelling,so youd prefer to stink then smell nice good job i cant smell you or know you as id tell you straight you bloody stink thats just being lazy if you dont like what ive said then you shouldnt have asked the question should you

There were quite a few things they didn't have in the 18th century. Doesn't make it a good thing at all!

In any case, if you didn't use deodorant but washed yourself you probably wouldn't stink...

if u dont want people to slag u off behind your back u wud wear deodrant.u can buy non scented ones anyway so u have no excuse think about your work colleagues and how uncomfortable they must be smelling your BO all day i have worked with people with BO and i'll tell u its not nice nobody wanted to go near them even walked out of the room when they entered.u sound really selfish u can get a good deodrant for a few pence!

Give deodorants a try. There is an upside to everything, and if you use a fragrant one like Dove you can go for as long as a week without washing, and you can lay in bed for 10 minutes extra each morning.

It soart of my contract that we arent allowed to smell bad (seriously). A deodorant stone will stop you from smelling badly.
