As long as your girlfriend knows you care that`s all you need to worry about, She`s probably better off going on her own as you could feel out of place....if you know what I mean, I`m sure your girlfriend will understand this
Im so sorry about your girlfriend and her Mums loss. Please try not to feel too disheartened lostboy. I understand your concern for your girlfriend but maybe she and her mum really need to be together, just the 2 of them right now. Maybe you can phone your girlfriend just for a 5 minute chat to reassure her that you're there for her on the other end of the phone? My best wishes. Daisy x
Dont be upset you sound a very caring person. You would have felt left out if you had gone with her as they need to grieve together.

thanks oldw,i know i wouldnt be of any use i just know how she feels,i dont think you have ever felt pain untill you have lost somebody close to you.
Lostboy I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself because I was on my own and I read your question and realised my troubles were few. Your girlfriend is very lucky to have you for support when she needs it. At the moment she needs her mum but in the days to follow you will be her rock I'm sure, just be there for her. God bless.

thankyou
I think it is very sweet of you to care so much.
However, tell your girlfriend you are there for her, when she needs you, there's not much more you can do at the moment.
