I have really painful period pains (sorry guys)
I can't find anyway of getting rid of them... and I have work tonight! : (
Any useful treatments or ideas?

Go to your local chemist and buy some heat pads, boots sell them for about �3.50p
Hot water bottle and two paracetmol.
Those Deep Heat patches are good. Hope you feel better soon xxx
I always find taking vitamin B tablets helps before your due. It helps PMT and eases stomach cramps.

Not gonna help tonight but might in the future. x
if you want something for today then try the heat patches as suggested.
Ive also heard the TENS machines (sold in large chemists) are very good for period pain. They are primarily sold for use in early labour and i found in that situation they do work
i take cuprofen and a paracetamol as i find either on its own doesnt work, the pharmacist suggested cuprofen when i informed her i had already taken paracetamol and was still in pain. not a good idea if you have to operate heavy machinery though.
not an answer but i read this post thinking that quiches are a strange cure for period pains!
