sensitive scalp

my scalp has become really sensitive i cant even use my regular hair products anymore it is dry and flakey and when you look at it closely you can see the subtle layer of whit flakiness covering it! what is wrong and can anyone recommend a solution to my problem?

Mine gets like this sometimes. Have you tried using T-Gel? I have a mild case of psoriasis, could it possibly be this...or ecsema?

thanks guys, i do have psoriasis actually but only developed it on my head over the past year. I always used kerastase derma calm but now its just irritated by it?! does T-gel work? I would have thought that might irritate it too? what is scc

T-gel may alleviate the situation, but the one that really does the business is Polytar medicated shampoo, that comes in a brown bottle. Ive been using it for years and whenever I stop, I instantly get the same thing you get. Its a bit pricey though. Polytar. Look around.

lindaloo, scc is a special sort of lotion used for the scalp, it comes in a tub, i have psoriasis on my scalp and have to use it almost daily to keep in control, you can only be prescribed by a doctor, theuy also use it in hospital. on dermatology wards.
