Why is it as soon as i sit down in lounge in the evening i fall asleep? I was going to say it only happens during the dark evenings, but thats not strictly true as i dont really sit down in better weather - only outside on patio. Im definately more sleepy at this time of year and i have to find some way to change it but how??? Even if we have visitors i still literally just cannot keep my eyes open!

I'd love to see what answers you get as I'm terrible for it, I have friends over with DVD's and I dont get to see more than 10 mins of it. I'm just too comfy in my own home. The only way I can get round it is to sit on floor upright watching it.
if your username has anything to do with your lifestyle ie work, play etc, well that could be the answer?
maybe its your diet
like maybe you eat loads of sugary stuff that causes you to have a blood sugar dip , making you feel sleepy

i have same problem .as u might tell from my name .lol
i think your user name says it all ... try being less busy!
I am the same as you.. I cant watch TV at night without falling asleep. My doctor has told me that it could be due to my not sleeping deeply enough at night. Your brain does not have time to recharge and so feel tired quickly. A good walk round the block tend to do the trick.. I go just before my dinner and it has worked wonders
