For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.hi stylinsam.my mum has been on the slimmingworld diet since feb this year and she has lost 3 stones and gone down from size 20 to size 14-16.i've looked at her slimming world books to try and get gist of how diet works but there 3 different ways of following diet...all looks very complicated but basic rule is dieters should eat healthier food(obviously)eat little and often and certain foods are a big no no and should be eaten in small amounts. e.g white bread and nuts.my mum has never really dieted seriously before and she's done brilliantly.i think the fact you can still eat foods you like just occasionally helps you to stick to it.
My own balanced healthy eating diet. I detest following other people's diets. As soon as I try one I feel hungry all the time! I haven't been on a diet for about 10 years now.
Salads, 5 portions of fruit/veg per day, big breakfast, small dinner, 10 gallons of water every 5 minutes.
My downfall is booze. But thankfully I tend to only drink Champagne which is lower in calories that most. And because it's lower in calories, I can drink twice as much!!

ummmm is spot on. It has to be a permanent change and you have to find your equilibrium to sustain a healthy weight and level of fitness. I�m one of those people that doesn�t have a stop button when it comes to eating. I just don�t feel full up! But I know this about myself so I just know when to stop now. I hate eating too much anyway because my stomach bloats!
