My dear fellow ABers, what are your views on whirlwind romances, has it ever happened to any of you or someone you know had this happen to them where they have met someone and within months got married etc?

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I think I fell for my fella the first time I saw him but we didnt rush into anything. We stillhavent after 10 1/2 years 3 kids we arent even engaged is that telling me something?

But a friend of mine who has no luck with women bless him has just met another girl fallen in 'love' yet again and she has moved in after only 2 weeks. he is 19 years older then her and they are talking about marriage already it's all a bit too fast if you ask me.

When i met my ex fiancee i thought he was the most beautiful man i'd even seen.

He said a similar thing to my ex (who was an ex at the time)who he had just moved with and my ex got us together.

We were together from the first night we met and moved in together 2 weeks later and it was something very special and he's the only man i've ever truly loved.

We didn't split because we didn't get on, there was something else I won't go into. I've been single since him (6 and a half years now) as no-one has ever come close to him.

Oh Jenna! That is so sad, Im so very sorry it didnt work out - but whatever the reason, you WILL find someone else very soon who will light up your life once again, I myself have been single now for almost 6 years now.....it is very difficult at times and 2 gorgeous babes like us....where are the men?????

Yeah first time I met my wife I knew she was something ultra special ( unfortunately it was at my wedding to my first wife).
I then turned up on her doorstep years later after my divorce with lots of issues and no money ( what a catch I was :( )with my children in tow and she let us stay, and we have been together ever since ( took us a couple of weeks to sleep together though).
So yes love at first sight definately.

Personally I don't believe in love at first sight as far as I'm concerned. I need to get to know people first.

When I used to be a PR in Spain, I had a few wirlwind romances that lasted until they went home off their holidays lol........

Its not THAT long is it ?? :( Im just a very fussy madam where my men are concerned, too many 'check' boxes. LOL....I need someone that can keep in the manner to which I have become acustomed.... hee hee!
