Now I'm not meaning to sound cruel or anything like that it was just one of those things that got me thinking, while watching Blue Peter while off ill in bed yesterday they had a bit on facts about feet and shoes, the presenter said the length of you foot is exactly the same as the length between your elbow and wrist (which most of us no by now) but it got me wondering if dwarfs/midgets feet are the same as they have short arms. Does anyone know for sure?

- the ones who have large heads, wide pelvises and distinctive facial features, but with short limbs and hands and are 'out of proportion' compared to an average person.
then there are 'midgets' - so-called because they are in proportion all over and are sort of 'miniature' people.
so i think 'midgets' would have the same thing with the foot and forearm, but i think dwarves have larger feet - just going by the mental image of any dwarves i have met or seen.
i guess with any kind of growth problem, it could go either way.
i am really curious for a definite answer myself now

Could we not just deduce generically then, that little people have little arms and little feet? If you really need to satisfy your curiosity you could:
a) ask the specialists at the above website
b) ask a little person in person / on the phone / by email / internet chat room
c) sneak upon an unsuspecting little person with a tape measure and size them up
Either way, someone might get a little short tempered.
And as you asked so kindly beforehand. :o)

4gm, if you have a scale ruler, you could hold it up to your screen.
