Got a new cerise Le Creuset Grillet (square).

So there.

Ner.
I was disappointed when I bought mine, there was no sauce in it. I have since taken it back.
Meyer Anolon Professional 14 inch skittle, I paid 129.99 in House of Fraser. It's brilliant, completely non-stick.

whiffeys is the best so far
I've got about seven of them....all silver in colour and do the job they were purchased for...
It's a very cheap one currently getting hot on the hob with some nice veggies in.
14 inches is a bit small though isn't it? Mine's a 42 inch widescreen with remote control. Beat that!
Silver ones are awful. If you go to sleep while the potatoes are boiling and they dry out you get burn marks all over the bottom. So I still have Meyer in the lead.

One of the most exciting threads ever.

its good isnt it? thought about it all day
I don't go to sleep when the potatos are boiling Whiffey...How very dare you!
peasants zacmaster peasants
i got my self a new frying pan last year, but i couldnt understand why everything stuck in it?? came home one day and it was in the bloody dishwasher!!

finally got it through to the wife that it doesnt go in the dishwasher but it kept sticking still!!

one day after we had used it and there she was.....filling it with hot water and putting fairy liquid in it!!

but i think whiffster has opened my eyes to a new one???
I've only got one and I have to screw the handle up each time I use it.

I'm no good at any other form of screwing.
I don't actually USE the Meyer, it is non-stick because it is non-used. It is too darned expensive to use. OK, occasionally I may cook a chicken curry in it, but most of the time I use ordinary Woolies 9.99 jobbies because you can scrub them with the scratchy side of a washing-up pad (I wouldn't do that to a Meyer !).

I must say this is one of the best threads ever, it's distracting me from the news, but heyho, if something is worth it, then it's worth it. Saucepans are displacing casserole dishes, have you noticed ? I'd be very surprised if you hadn't.
Sorry, fundamental error, 4.99 Woolies pans. Sorry if I caused any distress by the mistake :)

i love saucepans they have more character than casserole dishes
aaah whiffey, you can't beat a good casserole dish!

I think one of the problems with society is that we're all in such a hurry these days.. I love peeling sprouts, why are people buying them pre washed ready to microwave? yuk!
4.99? :o(

I was robbed!!

I just got a cast iron casserole dish for my birthday, can't wait to use it!
