Do you not love this time of the year when everyone is going out to parties and having loads of fun. What's the best time of the festive season for you?

January 2nd.

The bit right before christmas with last minute christmas shopping, browsing the christmas markets and stopping for a gluwein and bratwurst when it's all lit up and pretty with christmas carols and music everywhere.

Going out for christmas meals with friends too and work christmas dos :)

what's a party?
the best time fior me is when we do something special as a family, one year we went to see santa v the snowman at the national photography museum, followed by pizza hut,
last year we went to nuremburg for 4 days for xmas markets
this year were going to settle carlisle and having christmas dinner at hotel restaurant. opening present xmas day is good too.

I like Jan 3rd. Old Mans gone back to work. It ruins Xmas for me thinking I have to put up with him for nearly two weeks.

Christmas day. Even though I have to get up at 6 to go to my sisters and see the kids open their pressies, it's so lovely to see the utter joy in them. It's also the worst though, I have to do the washing up after dinner and with a family of 7 children and 5 grandchildren, that's a hellish thought! eeeuuugggghhh!

and 5 th jan,, when i can safely take the blasted tree down and my hosue is back to its old self again.

Christmas day afternoon, I go to the little church near me,light some candles for mum,dad & grandparents, then late afternoon the log fire is alight,no tele on,put some chestnuts on the fire and sit round relaxing and chatting,so relaxing,love it.
