touching mercury

if you touched a blob of mercury with your finger about 6 times and 'blobbed' it about a bit, what affect would that have on you?

would it affect your health? even in a small way?

or is it too small an amount and contact to make you unwell?

I've noticed that contentious or borderline threads often tend to disappear around 5pm or just after (I didn't report it btw). Someone getting in from work ?

Hahahahahaha!!! I have visions of you doing your detective work, Whiffey, with an intricate spreadsheet recording every thread that is ever posted on AB and at what time precisely they disappear, who is online at the time of the disappearance etc. etc.

Have you shortlisted it down to 100 users yet? :oD

Haha back ! No, it's just that very often when I leave work a thread is there, and when I get home and log in again it's gone. I only keep spreadsheets to record the foibles of my many aliases :)

Sorry joko, not answered your question, I too played with mercury as a kid and am still here. I think there is much more danger from the ingestion of mercury salts.
