Does any other AB member suffer from these? And what have you taken to help relieve the symptoms. Primrose oil tablets have not helped.

Last year I worked with a nutritionist to modify my eating because of hypertension, and she recommended increasing my calcium to combat PMT, which I've done mainly with a daily yogurt and an ounce of cheese. I can't tell if that alone made the difference (my new eating also includes a LOT more veggies, fruits and lean meats plus a daily iron pill to combat anemia), but the mood swings are less volatile and shorter in duration.
Good luck to you.

I used to suffer really badly when I was on the pill.
I came off the pill & have been pretty much ok since ~ maybe a little grumpy a day or so before but probably more grumpy when aunt flo arrives and it feels as if my guts are being ripped out :o(
The pill suppressed period pain...so I was in a no-win situation!
