Yes, but it's hard to imagine what it might be like. All the imagery of harps and choirs doesn't tot up - what a drag that would be. I think it might be an incredible surprise along the lines of "So THAT'S what it's all about !!"
The reason is that in order for your soul to be immortal it must first survive life...fair enough?
Your soul is generally though to be some unique indivividual essence of "you".
Yet we know of enough cases of extreme illness or damage to the brain where that has been fundamentally damaged so much that the person is no longer who they once were - if you like their "soul" has been damaged.
Phinneas Gage is a case in point - he survived a spike going through his brain but his personality was so badly alterred that his friends famously said "Gage was no longer Gage"
there is no life after death no matter how much we like to think there is.There is NO reliable evidence that we survive outside of our body.Just this life so make the most of it.On my tombstone I would like the looney toon signature "thats all folks"
Nope, there is none. It's just a slow process of scattering our atoms back into the earth.
BUT, if there was one, you should be all-knowing, be able to view the people still living on earth, and nosey in on what they're up to. Plus you should be able to see all the highlights of your life put to musicall accompanyment of your choice
yes I do because I have seen too many things as proof. You either believe in life after death or you do not so I am not going to argue the point here, but to me personally I have had proof enough to believe.
zimzam unlike ytou i have had no actual proof , but i do believe ther is life after death, as to what it will be like i have no idea but i do believe it will be special.
yep i do,well really its the only thing that keeps me going ive lost alot of family over the last 10yrs,one was my dad aged 47,i have to think there is life after death and its a nice place, and my dad will be waiting for me.
Yesterday my wife was in tears. A friend who had personal troubles had visited a clairvoyant. She contacted the other side. It happened to be my wife's mother!
I do believe, i have no proof but lots of faith, just because its not scientifically provable does not make it untrue. Laurence2 , why do need proof what the matter with just believing?
