how would i research a past news story ? i was followed home one night about 10 years ago, and it all ended up in court as the guy was a bit of a psycho!! and i was wondering if there was any way i could trace this from old news stories?
tried typing the guys name into google but nothing?

If it was in court there'd be records wouldn't there? And if you can remember a paper it was in then you could search on that couldn't you?
Hmmm, you could trace it if it ever made the news, but i doubt it. Only thing you could do is find out the case number and check what happened from there. Whats point of typing someones name in google? i know mine (MrBen5) comes up a lot, but this guy probably never made it to the news headlines...

yeah, i was thinking about going online to check my local paper online, will try that now actually.
it was never a major news story but i was just curious
and mr ben you are right typing his name into google was a stupid idea !! there is apparently even an actor with the same name !!!
