long lost child

i have a couple friend who have been married for 2 years and are expecting a baby, last week john found out that he has a child from a one night stand with a girl he harly nos (bit like corrie i no ) but my friend jo cant get to grips with the fact that he as another child, when she is pregnant herself, she is staying at her mums at the moment, and i dnt really no what to say to her, as i have no children myself and im not married so i cant really understand it,
any advice tia xxxxx

What an awful situation. If he genuinely didn't know about the child then, in all fairness, he cannot be blamed if the relationship was outside of the one he is in now.
Makes me ask why and how the existence of his first child has been made knowledge all of a sudden.
As for your friend Jo, I can appreciate that she must be horrified but , like I have just said, it depends very much upon the circumstances of conception of the other child as to how much blame she can lay at her husband's door.
Hormones will be all over the place, which won't help.
All I can offer sam is that, if he wasn't in a relationship with your friend when his first child was conceived then I feel for him - many people have one night stands and 'get away' with it. If he was in a relationship with Jo at that time then personally, I would castrate him !

yes they were together in arelationship they have been for 7 years got married 2 years ago, they got together when they were 17 18 , the child is now 3 years old, so yeah he did cheat on her, but she told me that they were on abreak for about 6months or so. so.............

How come he has found out about the child now ?

because apparently, the women he slept with had been trying to find him for a year or so as he had moved from blackpool to stoke, and the women finally got in touch with his mother who she told she was just a friend looking for him, and his mum is pretty old so didnt think twice about giving her the address and she just showed up
