what made you feel old?

This made me realise the other day, as i was sewing the clips onto my daughters hair extentions (!) well what a bloody tedious job, mad worse by the fact that i had to keep re-threading the needle, well i always used to be pretty damn good at threading needles (not that people used to queue up for me to do it or anything on that scale) but i always found it easy, but NOW?? i was squinting, and blinking, tongue sticking out and all sorts, spotlight on the needle but to no avail, have to admit my eyes are not what they were, so my daughter had to keep doing it for me, took her all of 5 seconds, but it made me think, what cant you do now, that you used to be good at, and its all down to getting older?? in case you think i'm 87, i'm 44 lol

Playing with my 2yr old is murder on my back, legs and backside, and I'm only 36, how depressing is that???

Oh and when it's cold out and I'm out and about in it, it always hurts my back then too, and makes me want a pee :-(

I remember when i was 23 - 35 i always looked really good for my age, and when i used to tell people in a smug way how old i was they used to go.....'NO WAY? REALLY, ARE YOU??' and suddenly when i got to 40/ 43 ish and i tell them they just go............'oh yeah, thought you were about that'............ that hurts!! oh and i seem to 'tut' at people in the supermarket a lot, for no apparent reason?
