Dentists

Is anyone else as terrified of them as me? i have a check up next week and im nervous already :((( xxxxxxxx

Not afraid of dentists but terrified of water!! I once did a parachute jump and was fine until the plane crossed over the Irish sea first. I can't even walk near a swimming pool on holiday in case someone pushes me in. I would probably have a heart attack before I hit the water!

I have a really weird one - I don't mind dentists, flying, insects and snakes etc. The thing that freaks me out the most is the idea that the car might catch fire! haha! If the temperature guage goes even slightly higher than normal (which ours does cos there's a hole in a water hose) I start shaking and have to stop the car! Madness, I know, but fears aren't famed for always being rational.

No fear of dentist's but Im phobic about tall/large buildings! I cant even stand outside Asda or Tesco without having a panic attack. I do my main shop online from Tesco. Oh and dont show me a cockroach!!

I have a thing about standing too close to the platform edge at train stations or on the tube when a train is approaching in case someone comes and pushes or knocks me over.

Think it's from hearing about people who have been pushed under trains for no reason.

Saying that I nearly came a cropper on a tube train once when got stuck half in and half out of the doors, nearly went right down the side of the train but the door opened as my leg was jammed in it and a guy reached out, grabbed me and pulled me in and onto the floor of the train.

Was funny about them before that but it didn't help! xxx
