counting

does anyone else have my problem which is counting,?
(in my head obvuously, not out loud)
i count ceiling tiles, flowers/ squares on wallpaper
if someone in front of me in a que is wering spots or stripes, i will be counting them, i cant stop myself.

I have a stupid thing of reading every car number plate that goes past when I'm walking. I try to make words out of them and only recognise if someone I know is coming past by the numberplate. A bit weird I think!

When i was a kid i used to count mey steps 1 to 4 then start again a to 4 (everywhere I went for several years.....I think Im a looney.

I do the number plate thing........there is one in my street that spells the name of a bird I used to fancy...I get very depressed if it aint there when I go to work in the morning

spurs, thinking about it now, i must have done this as a kid,
remember when minis (cars) were very common, i used to **** how many i saw on the way to school. sometimes i'd get upto 15 or 16, you dont t many nowadays .

I count the carriages on trains. It is difficult when a photo has been taken with the train coming at you, because it can be nearly impossible to discern the final few carriages and you need to get a pin and magnifying glass. My bike ride to work takes me over a railway bridge. I have to wait for a train to pass before I can continue to work, and if that train has 12 coaches I know I will die.

I didnt mean being the only one to get offended about the stars, I mean about the car number plate thing. I try to look for ones that spell offensive words too, but I know the DVLA are careful about releasing the obvious ones.

it used to be 21 steps from my bed to where i worked on my last ship, and another 26 to the far end of the ship

so why my employers make me run a mile and half in 11 minutes, every year, i will never know

i count to a tune that has six beats. it can be windows on a house, things on shelves, shapes anything. if its a square, like the tv for example, well its not really counting, i use the beat for the lines, then i'll do the corners, then the buttons. if i finish all the bits on it that i can, and it doesn't finish with the 6th beat, i have to start all over again!!! i have 4 shelfs with books, dvds, videos CDs trophies etc and it takes me ages to go through it, then i have to add the actual shelf and the pieces of the shelf that seperates everything. come to think of it its a weird thing to do!!
