Kev`s dead, so his wife came on to let everyone know
I read it earlier....I wasn't sure either.

On the day of his death???

I really hate to sound horrible here, but if my husband died, I know that one of my 1st thoughts on that particular day wouldn't be to tell a forum that he was a member of.

Hmmmmmm......I didn't pay much attention to that bit. Slightly weird..
i know it seems a bit weird

do you think she's ok.....?
It's very strange......I'm thinking that maybe he didn't sign out and someone else posted it
Im baffled - berylliums link gives me the impression kev was british yes his wifes post sounds as though he is american.
Or have I totally misread all that??
My guess is that living in the Lake District, which is probably not the busiest place in England, he probably `knew` more people on here than he did in the outside world
As for his wife posting it on the day of his death, older people tend to deal with death a lot better than youngsters like us ;o)

I have posted on her link. I think maybe you are right and she may have felt some comfort in reading his questions and answers which seem to be mostly in news. He may have spent a lot of time on line and she was aware of that.

Oh.... and as for using his account to post it, she probably felt it best to do that rather than sign in as a grennie and get told to fook off
Question Author
Yeah In know, I know, I probably look a real
cow here now :-(

I'm really sorry if it's a genuine post, and i hope that Joan, if she visits the site again, won't think I'm truly evil. I'm just struggling to wrap my head round the fact that someone would do that on the day of their partners death.

Like ya say though athley, folks deal with grief in different ways, and this might be hers- it just seems odd to me shrugs
Perhaps she heard that the ''green prat'' is after another wife?
Question Author
oh shurrup Elvis, stop trying to get one over on me 'ere (ya never will you know- lol) and what's a grennie ;-)
I said the poor woman is most probably sitting in stunned silence looking at the computer & imagining him sitting in front of it :( Plus if he'd had a long illness maybe this forum was an 'outlet' for him.
I must agree with Boo - it does seem very very odd, but then I guess people deal with grief in different ways.
