Im thinking,just thinking of having botox for my daughter's wedding in May as,when I have pics taken I alway's seem to look like Popeye with me squint. I know all eyes will be on the bride and groom but as the bride's mother I want to look my best. any help or opinion's appreciated. Popeye,sorry battersby-;

I haven't had Botox but I think you might qualify for Botox under the NHS. Is it just your eye that is affected?
battersby, i say why not!!!!! If it makes you feel more comfortable then i dont see what the problem is. You're bound to want to look your best on your daughters big day! You go for it, you'll look great! :-) x
I'd say in you should go for it Battersby... if it will make you feel better within yourself and it means you'll enjoy your daughter's wedding day more, why not?

Thank you m,dears, ummmm2 I had'nt even thought of the NHS and yeah,my mouth still droop's and it really show's up in pics so ta for that ,I'll ask my gp about it as Im seeing him on the 12th anyway.Julie and snagged,being honest I do get embarrassed when Im out so I think botox would give more confidence. My hubby says my droop's hardly notice but he dont have to walk around looking like popeye.lol and I do want to look my best for the wedding. Thanks again.
battersby, its about how you feel anyway, not what anyone else says to you. All the people in the world can tell you it doesnt look bad but if you're not happy with it then thats whats important. Good luck and let us know your decision and how it goes if you go through with it! X

Thanks Julie, Like I said, Im seeing my gp on the 12th so Im gona ask him about having it done on the NHS. He might say yes but it's the time element as the wedding's in May. I still want the botox so I'll might have to smash my piggy bank. I know I'll feel better in myself for getting my eye done. Popeye xx
