' i still think he is too young for a cot '
You can think what you like ~ it's still your daughters decision :o)
In future you might think again about posting on a public forum. If you think we have told you off like a 'naughty schoolchild' then move on..nothing to be seen here.

My youngest is 22 months too and he is still in his cot. I am thinkg about transferring him to a bed but I keep putting it off. My other two were in a bed at 18 months and 17 months but Sam is more of a little monkey and will climb out of his bed that has double sided bedguards on it. he still wants to be in his cot when I ask him too.
gina, maybe you should just watch what info you put on a question in future. Anything that you put in your questions can be called upon when someone answers, as youve seen. I can accept that you didnt want the arguing to come into it but you now know for future reference :)
As for the question, it looks like from what youve answered that many mums would be putting baby into a bed at that stage.

My eldest son was out of his cot and in a big bed by the age of one due to the fact that he had started to climb out. My 3 year old son only went into his bed from his cot a year ago. I knew he wasnt ready and was still very happy where he was, so i didnt see the point in changing until he was ready. They are all different and there is no wrong or right age to do it.
I think i know where gina siis coming from with the mother daughter thing though, Mums always give advice and sometimes daughters dont accept that. pippa is quite right, it is entirelly the daughters decision but as her Mum, gina is just having her say, quite normal, maybe just worded wrong on this question.
