The recent 'size zero' phenomenon has struck fear into many people. Mothers are worried their daughters will end up anorexic in the quest to be thin, women worry that being emaciated is now beautiful. With London Fashion Week approaching, we can expect to see plenty of models with their over-sized heads and protruding hip bones strutting down the catwalk who are apparently the epiphany of beauty.
What do you think about size zero models? Do they set a bad example to impressionable teenagers? Should they be banned from the catwalk? When did skinny become so enviable?
What do you think about size zero models?
They set a bad example to women If agencies want size zero models that is their choice There is not a problem with size zero models or them appearing in magazines, fashion weeks or on television.
I don't care. I don't know anyone who is anorexic because they want to look like a catwalk model but I know plenty of people who have been affected by drugs, crime and poverty.
If people want to be thin then it only affects them, their friends and family, there are bigger issues to worry about that affect all of us.
Im 5ft 10 & around 7 & 1/2 stone, im a very unhealthy shape and size and suffer alot because of it, but im still a size 8/10, my bmi is only 15.1. i dont diet, i eat a loud of rubbish tbh, its just natural.
But going through what i do, any one who is smaller and by choice, has something wrong in the head! Its not fun, healthy and it sure as hell is not attractive!!
I'm 15 and feel no inclination whatsoever to be that thin. I'm slim, but I think that size sero is waaayyy too far for anyone to go.
People are too obsessed with looks anyway. Looks may be the first thing that attracts you to someone, but it's the personality that counts in the end. No one likes a gorgeous person that has the personality of a poisonous snake.
