Do you dread your approaching Birthdays? At what age so you consider yourself as being old?

My birthday is coming at the end of the month and I'm starting to feel a lot older and dreading the next milestone.

I hated the idea of turning 30.....but now that's gone I don't really care anymore.

its just a number young lady, you are as old as you feel or act, when i joined the navy, men of my age 37, were like men in their 50's are now, but we are all younger than people of our were 50 years ago........

I sound patronising when I ,mention it to my other half as he will turn 38 two weeks after my birthday and he's got 10 years on me then.

i'm dreading turning 30! i've got 3 1/2 years til i get there but it still terrifies me! i feel like i have to grow up then!! xXx

18 and 21 were significant, but the one I most dread is the big 3-0.

I am looking forward to my next milestone- I am going on a trip to find the source of the nile. If I find it I will let you know how it is- I am having shawirma (Gyros), lamb cooked on a vertical split with fava beans. Then next door to the Red Lion.
