I posted on AB about my boyfriend, calling time on our relationship, as he decided he wants to be a free spirt! He rang me last week, and during conversation he let me know that he has registered himself on to on-line dating! And has been out with someone. He told me they kissed. But he kept thinking about me, so he wouldnt see her again.
What I cant absorb is (1) how can he move on so quick? (2) why tell me? When he knew that I still love him?

Hi Trinny, please don't think I'm being uncaring here, but as a bloke I feel i can answer with some authority
1. He was probably thinking about this for some time before he told you, so in his mind he wasn't moving on that quickly.
2. He is a git
He probably said that because either she blew him out and he's too macho to admit it or he thinks if he strings you along he may still be able to get you into bed if nothing else crops up.

sometimes people play game too see how much their partner loves them, its a sort of if i tell her i'm seeing someone else, lets see if she makes a fuss and begs to have me back, if you see what i mean, its just their insecurities, they need too feel wanted, so play mind games

dont worry trinny, i know its hard, but time does heal, just play him at his own game, tell him you met someone else who is lovely, i know its lying, but revenge is sweet he may learn a lesson, but i doubt it, there are lots of normal men around with no hang ups, remember look at it as an escape, so your better off so no need to be sad, though thats how you will feel
