Went for my free trial today and managed to put them in and take them out at first attempt. However the second and third time were not so successful so I guess it was beginers luck. I had a bit of trouble removing the left lense this afternoon and now my eye is a bit sore. Please can someone tell me it gets easier as I would really like to give them a go. Will have another go tomorrow if my eye recovers after a good night sleep.
It does get easier. The more relaxed you are the better it is. It feels strange at first, but you'll soon get used to wearing them, so I would definately keep on trying, I personally much prefer them to wearing glasses.
Yes, as above Maggie although I find that when I get home I need to remove them (not good for telly or computer as they dry up) so keep a hold on your specs for night time.
It does get easier! I had the same problem as you, got them in first time and then couldnt do it again! The girl said to me "You will be able to do it, you were able to do it once so you'll be ok!"
I find that the easiest way to take them out is to push it slighly off the iris towards my nose and then pinch it to cause a wrinkle and remove it.
I wear them too, and I think it is easier to get them out if you pull upwards the outer corner of your eye. The lens should then pop out!
Mind you, the number of times they have popped out unexpectedly.....
I don't have a problem getting them out just in. Today was good in one eye but the left eye just doesn't focus properly. Will have to mention it next week when I go back. Maybe the left eye ones aren't strong enough. Only took me twenty minutes to get the first one in this morning. My eye feels a bit bruised now so I will probably give tomorrow a miss and rest my eyes.
