Hey folks,
I was in a car crash yesterday, not my fault, I was just driving along the main road when a woman came out of a junction without looking and bashed into the side of my car at the back. She has admitted liability. Really badly damaged and gone to the garage, but Ive had a headache since last night and my neck is sore. I have an appointment at the docs tomorrow, anyone have any advice? Had to come to work today I dont get paid for being off. Feeling a bit low :( Thanks

Have you been sick at all?
When you have a crash you should really get it checked out just to be on the safe side.
Sounds like you had a bit of a pants day yesterday! at least she admitted liabilty it might have been even worse! Then you still had to go to work? how come you dont get SL?

Thanks melon, my boss sent me home early so I just went and chilled and had a bath, got the docs tomorrow so will tell them then and see what they say. Feel really blue and teary and fed up :( Only started a new job so I dont want to risk being off sick just now just in case. x
I feel a phone call to the nearest personal injury solicitor coming up, its ok Queen Bee, you dont have to tell us that you are hurting we cant be witnesses when you go to court or you may be lucky and they will settle out of court!

I hate this blame and claim culture now days!
Sounds like you've got a whiplash claim there. Like Kat says, the blame & claim culture isn't great but the thought of a few thousand pounds for a minor neck injury that usually has no lasting effects should brighten up your day!
When you report the incident to your insurance company, if you haven't already, tell them about your headaches and sore neck. They will need to broach this with the woman's insurers to make sure that you get compensation for injury should that become an issue.
I do hope you are OK Queen~Bee if you feel your symptoms are getting any worse maybe you should get someone to pop down to your local casualty department with you just to be on the safe side take care love megan
don't use one of those no win no fee people, get a proper local firm to deal with you cos the other side will pay the fee anyway, and you do want to win! You should really go to casualty actually and i guess that is what your doc will say anyway.
Argh, you might be a little stressed by it all. If it does get worse do get it checked though.
I can understand you not wanting to be off especially with a new job and all.
put your feet up and relax. I agree that you shouldnt use and no win no fee company, i did that when i fell off something and the fee at the end was huge. There is one on the t.v where they charge the other side their fee that might be the best.
Hope you feel better later! xx
