Is it too soon to live together?

I have been with my girlfriend for 3 months now and have asked her about living together. I have lived with previous partners before but after a couple of years. I am currently living at my parents house and my girlfriend is in housing association accomodation with her young daughter. I've been through enough in my life to know what love and happiness really are and I'm sure I've found it now. I know she feels the same but we're both just wondering if people do move in together this quickly and how its worked out for you. Cheers.

if its what you want to do go for it. whats it matter what anyone else does, everybodies life is different, you both seem to agree so do it.

i would suggest its a bit soon to be tying yourself up legally with a house or mortgage or loans etc, just in case it all goes wrong - but getting a flat and going halves on the rent would be ok.

i think its a bit soon, how would the child be affected if the relationship broke down after a few years ,
