This may seem a strange question but over the yearts I seem to have lost half my eyebrows - the half nearest my eyes. I thought this was because I used to shave them, more than 30 years ago. Recently though there was a woman on "10 Years Younger" who had been shaving hers off for years and yet still managed to grow some back to be re-shaped by the beautician on the programme. I wondered if some treatment I had in my late 20's might have had something to do with my lack of eyebrows. I had a skin complaint in the 'T-Zone' area of my face, down the middle from between the eyes down to my chin. I had laser treatment on this area over a period of months. Do you think this may have inhibited hair growth? I'm not too bothered having lived with it now for years, I'm just curious.
skyep, Thanks for your answer. No, I don't wear much make-up and stuff and I've got used to my short brows. I just wondered if my early morning, unable to sleep musings had been a possibility. jan
I think Bette Davis shaved hers off for when she was playing Elizabeth I in a film, long ago, and found hers never grew back. So it might be that; but I would have thought it would have happened more quickly if that was the case.
