Should i eat the egg that doesn't really belong to me ?

As i have said in my earlyer post i don't have any easter eggs.
But im minding a mates house for him while he and his wife are in the Caribbean. He has told me to help myself with food and drink. But there is a big egg on the chair it was there last week before they went away. They rang yesterday to see if all was ok and to make sure i use the house as my own. And to use what ever there is in the house.
Well you can guess what im going to ask

" Should i eat the egg "

What would you do ?

Follow your instincts which are obviously telling you not to eat the egg (or you would have by now). Buy yourself a bar of chocolate. It really doesn't have to be easter to eat an easter egg does it? (with regards to you saying that it won't be easter by the time they get back). Think how you'd feel if it was something to do with one of the kids. Though having said all that I am curious as to why it was left in such a prominent place and not put away somewhere. So maybe it was left for you. If it was then just think,when they come back and tell you you'll be able to take it home and scoff the lot!

Dial-an-egg never heard of that one.
Upto now ive left it where they left it on the settee i will eat all there other chocolate instead.

If they left a small Christmas tree on the chair, during the appropriate holiday, would you consider eating it?

Don't Touch The Egg!!

it's an endurance test. if they wanted you to eat it they would mention to help yourself with it. maybe the kids cannot wait to get back to eat the egg themselves.

Ive still not touched the egg.
And if the Christmas tree was edible yeh i would still be here asking should i eat the edible tree.
