Boyfriend phone switched off-what should i think? Help!!

Ive recently met this really nice guy, ony thing is his phone has been off for over a day now (since yesterday morning) and he texted me from his brothers phone once to say his battery is dying and he will call me when he gets in from his brothers house. (he didn't say when he will b back and that was yesterday afternoon), but all up until now his phone is still swtiched off with no word. I am going out of my mind. Am i just being silly and should wait for him to call, or is he taking the **** out of me? Help :-(

he also said last week some guys were chasing his brother with a gun and shot at him grazing his ear- and my boyf said he wanted to help his bro catch whoever dun it. Thats another reason why im worried

Please correct me if Im wrong but didnt you recently spilt from ex after a long term relationship? Could it be that because of this you are throwing yourself into this new relationship? It may be that he wants to take things slower than you and needs a bit of space

or get you to top up credit. But then even if he has credit or not, costs nothing to answer a call. Nothing you can do really if you dont know his surname. you never mentioned any gun crime in question and seemed you were only worried about if he was taking the pee. He could have a very valid reason dont take it to heart. It may not always be about you you know.
