i need to lose weight so i know i must exercise aswell as eat sensibly. i have 3 stone to lose. i am stuck as to what i can do actively. i cant swim and am scared of water, ive had a knee operation so cant use a bycyle and walking for a long period of time hurts my knee which then goes up to my hip. so any suggestions welcome. i know that when i had my knee operation, walking was suggested which i did do for a short period of time but my knee became swollen. can i assume i have to go through the pain stage to get any success with weight bearing joint excercise or should i leave well alone?
hi bubbles, using a mini trampoline is surposed to be good for you, and doesnt put much pressure on your joints. You can buy them quite cheap from argos. Or if in doubt, have a word with your gp.
