Birthday ideas
31 Answers
Hi guys, someone the other day asked me what I did for my birthday last year....it was so memorable that I cannot remember, I doubt whether I did anything!
I want some ideas of what to do, there is only me (I don't have any close friends) but I am quite happy to do something by myself.
I'll be 39, I don't have much money and I am based in Southampton, UK. My birthday is at the end of June, so I have a little while to go yet - Any ideas?

i think whatever you do you should try and treat yourself! I didn't really celebrate mine on Tuesday, kind of felt there wasn't much to celebrate. I'm 24 years old, lacking formal further education and am finding it tremendously difficult to find gainful employement. I have to struggle to survive and will certainly not be voting to maintain the status quo come may 3rd! I was up in the highlands with a group of young people as a volunteer and they surprised me by bringing out 6 cherry bakewells with candles on at 1/4 to 12 before my birthday which was really nice. Got in about 9.30 the next evening and opened my 5 cards and the cd's I bought myself off ebay the previous week and had 1 can of beer!
