who dumps who??

Was reading another question in R&D and some people say that more girls dump blokes than blokes dumping girls? Who agrees? One of the reasons given was that girls can find another partner more easily than men can.

I would have thought it wqas pretty even myself. Its not like women can find a partner easier as there must be equal members of men and women in a heterosexual relationship. Saying that I have only been dumped twice... I dunno.

what do you mean 'only', have you been in lots of relationships. I've been dumped once but have only been out with 3 people. lol

I think its even when men and women are younger, that said I know a hell of a lot of single moms, who have been single for years, also when men get older they are seen as distinguished and have no trouble getting a girlfriend whereas its more difficult for older women.

I hope this isnt the case really, basically I am going on what women I know have said about their situation, I would love to know what the male perspective is

I reckon its about 50/50 really. Ive dumped guys and Ive been dumped, wouldnt say either is more common

I think men are much more willing to stick in a relationship and wait for the girl/woman to end it.
Even if the end is inevitable!

All my steady relationships so far have been ended by me!

I agree with that one. I've not alot of men that are too chicken to dump women so they wind them up and are horrible to them until they dump them so they dont look like the bad one.

I would have thought that was quite true but my personal reaosning for this is that men tend to 'settle' in relationships a lot more than women. A woman will leave if she is truely unhappy but a man will stay just because it's comfortable. If a man has food on the table, roof over his head, and he isn't being nagged 24hrs of the day then the chances are that even if he isn't in love with his wife anymore... he will stay... purely because it is less hassle! But... even if he is not getting sex.. he may not leave... he will just find that little pleasure somewhere else!

I am not generalising all men in this category but the majority will stay for the sake of staying!
I think women on the other hand need that emotional connection/stimulation... and if a relationship lacks that, then they tend to walk away! Plus so many women now a days don't like the idea of marriage or living with a partner because they like their independence and the opportunity to pick and choose a partner instead of settling for someone just because they feel trapped and like they can't leave as they don't have anything of their own!
