Do you think we should offer smokers euthenasia to save the country money and cut down on polloution?Is it just me but dont you find most junkies , thiefs ,chavs,neds,pikeys,gang members and muggers all smoke?Even if its only cannabis.If we got rid of smokers would it cut down on muggings etc?As smoking cannabis is seen as a stepping stone to harder drugs , if we banned smoking and humanely carried out euthenasia on people who smoked , wouldnt we also cut down drug abuse, crime and the causes of crime?Or do you find this to be an extreme measure,even though it would work.

I was a smoker up until 4 years ago, i like to think that im not thought of like that! Just cause i gave up, i was still one for many years.

I wish smokers would stop being seen as the spawn of the devil. Its a habit and a bloody hard one to kick, no excuse i know but as i said in another post, it IS a choice. If i want to start smoking again tomororrow then i will, thats my choice! Its not an evil act!!!!!How would you like to be told you cant eat what you want, or drink what you want. This country is enough of a nanny state now without this crap!

the government needs smokers, otherwise it would have to increase tax on booze and petrol, maybe even utilities if they are desperate.

Drugs are being downgraded so that they will be able to sell them legally and cream some tax of the addicts, you wait and see!!

Well done stewey.This was a question to start debate.Not a stupid question atall though controversial yes.If you disagree that all cannabis smokers smoke then how do they take cannabis?If all the hoodies hanging around outside shops dont smoke why do the vast majority of them walk around with a fag or a joint in their hand?If criminals dont smoke why do they give them fags/tobacco in jail??And theres a drastic difference between euthenasia and execution i think people need to check their dictionaries.If people smoke cannabis /heroin and rob to fund their habit then am i wrong?As i said controversial yes , on the cusp of extreme yes.But inaccurate no.Next time youre out and about look around you.You will see them.

I think most people in the uk are addicted to something nowadays, its sad but true, I think euthenasia is a bit strong!

I do think they need to tackle the drugs/alcohol/cigarette addicitions that have increased a lot in the last few years, co-inciding with a raise in anti social behaviour

It doesn't bother me as I'm not a smoker or drinker, I just don't see how it can be such a laugh being so offensive, but true some people get off on it!!!
