After an incident at work today I'm wondering how much racism is incited by ethnic minorities. A guy at work was having problems with his pc. We have one IT guy to serve the whole company and his nickname (well known to everyone) is in reference to his 'I'll get round to it at some point' attitude. The guy who was having problems with his pc after a while stated that if he was white, it would have been fixed by now. This was most definately not said in jest. We all know this to be completely untrue, it could have been anyone and it wouldn't have got fixed any quicker. Is this something that happens often and if so why? ( (this isn't meant to cause any kind of offence to anyone, just something that's been bothering me)

Don't get me started.
Ooooh Never underestimate the power of ginger people in large groups lol. The PC brigade forgot us though didn't they?
Ginger peoples genitals smell nice.
(Female ones, havnt sniffed male ones)
Yeah maybe so, but our computer doesn't get fixed quicker than the blondes.
One of my best mates is black/english and he finds the "pc brigade" amusing as to what their motives are

ie.. MPs, BBC and ITV,The Police,Fire Brigade, anti Bernard Manning brigade,BNP, Union Jack Flags etc

Basically what he`s saying is it`s mainly white people who keep harping on about Race and not blacks, and that`s what causes the animosity

Is that cos you is black, sorry ginger?
Elvis, I agree, I find this with most of my black family and friends and public generally, but I have certainly experienced abuse of ethnicity & power from many of my asian community, and am personally now not going to be less assertive with these people as I would be with anyone else, cos I know I have been, hence frustration building.
grumpii lol, that reminds me of when my ginger sister announced that she was pregnant with her half British/ half British/Sudanese husbands baby, and my parents overjoyed in response took me aside and asked "does that mean it will be black with ginger hair?"
curiosity, what`s your origin...black/asian?
I am British English born in Middlesbrough, Grandparents from County Cork originally. My brother in law also born in Boro is black from an English mam and Sudanese/English Dad, so one of my nephews is black also.
Curiosity, lol, dont take offence, a jaffa cake just jumped into my head !!!!!!!! :)
Non taken, I am a very tolerent person Grumpii, I don't bite easily, but I do like a good belly laugh, try again.
So you`re white with a black family?
I wasnt trying to offend, hope you laughed.
