I am middle aged, weigh 9 stone and look smart for my age (sorry to boast). I am going to a wedding next month -church then hotel - and have a nice dress, hat, etc for the occasion. With luck, the sun will shine. Can i go bare legs ( with light tanning) or should i wear tights?

lyn its entirely up to you , i dont really think it makes too much of a diffrence , it may be hot , i think i would go bare legs xx have a nice time

i think tight in the summer is not good. bare legs is fine.

also, don't worry too much whatever you decide, i doubt anyone will even notice or mind.

Depends what you call middle aged, 3 score years and 10 make you 35, if thats the case then bare legs. Have you got good, smooth, unblemished legs if not then it must be tights.

Without tights would look better...legs don't need to be perfect if the dress is blow knee length ;o)

I have to agree with ted but just want to say to pussnboots that a score is 20 so 3 score and ten would be 70! Sorry for being pedantical!

Thinking on - if I had veiny legs, then I'd go half way & wear stockings!

(Fortunately, me pins aren't that bad - yet - so I'd go bare legged)!
