Leaving Your Child Unattended

AB is bang out of order with this question. The parents of Madeleine McCann are being tortured enough without the 'holier than thou' finger pointing brigade spouting nonsense like this. Posting the question is downright irresponsible and is no help to anyone.

I am fairly certain the parents of little Madeleine won't be saying........................
"Our little Princess has been taken, we are going out of our minds with torture. But we must log on to Answerbank.co.uk to see what a bunch of midnight chatters in the UK think about our parental responsibility"
No offence, but the whole idea of this site is to debate. and this sad story is most contemporary.
However, I do not in the slightest blame the parents. As I said when the story forst unfolded, a girl was taken from her bath in Newcastle a while ago with the parents in the next room. They are not to blame.

Leaving a dog unnattended in a car IS NOT a crime!!!!
All I am saying is it may have happenned whether the parents were there or not. We simply do not know.
It probably wouldn't have, but there is no way of knowing. Surely if somebody is wrong enough to kidnapp a 3 year old there morals would not stop at killing the parents to get to her.

The point is legend it is no good apportioning blame at the parents.
If your 3 year old girl is killed by a Range Rover will killer bullbars on the front grill, and the 4x4 is being driven by a 17 year old drunken yob who has just joyriden the car at 100mph through a pedestrian crossing. Do you blame wholeheartedly blame the 17 year old? Of course you do!!!
Would you consider the bullbars manafactorers as the blame? You couldn't give a monkey's.
Blame the kidnappers, not the parents. Their actions may have been contributary, but their actions have not created the situation.

Leg Im not for a minute saying that Maddies parents werent wrong to leave her. But you're too busy kicking people when they are down to see the real point here. It should all be about getting the kid back. Wether her parents are arrogant , snobbish , self centred or just downright stupid, no one deserves such torture. This may well be the biggest mistake any parent could make but nobody deserves this punishment for a lack of judgement. This question should never be asked while everyone is still looking for her. I personally refuse to answer the question at this time because the question should never have been brought up in the public domain. We have a saying in these parts. Its the easiest thing in the world to f**k someone when the're already f***ed.
