I am fuming! Actually fuming!

I need to vent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About 2yrs ago a friend of mine (who I shall call S) was living with one of her best friends (who I shall call H) and the lease was up for renewal so S decided to move out as living with H had been difficult (H was single and bringng home men about 3-4 times a week.. different men)

So S told H and H got really angry and one weekend when S was away H moved out and took ALL of S's things with her... not stuff from her bedroom but things like Sofa's, plates, tables, units, cutlery etc... mostly stuff S's family had bought her when she moved into the house! So S was very very upset by it all and was having family problems at the time... plus S is such a gentle person... I would not be able to name a more passive person! So S decided she would try calling H, but obviously, H wouldn't answer, so S sent her a letter... then H replied saying if she didn't leave her alone she would get a restraining order!!!!!!! She had taken all her stuff! What was S meant to do?
So S being the passive person she is... decided that she didn't want to deal with it.. so she accepted the fact that her things and her friend were gone!

(I posted this all on AB when it happened as I wanted to help my friend)

Anyway.... reason for my post..... we had a new girl start in this office this morning and I have been racking my brains all morning trying to work out where I know her from!!!! Then it clicked.... she is H!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so angry! Even more angry that I was nice to her as I didn't know who she was.... and EVEN more angry that I have to continue being nice to her as I am the receptionist so I will have a lot to do with her!!!!!

I am not an agressive person.... but the things I could do right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There must be something I can do, within my powers! Thing is.. although she works for the same company... she works across the hall and under different management! But.. I sit right next to the kitchen.. she has to walk past me to make a drink! She hasn't ventured over on her own yet!

Cop yerself on Rubes -if the car won't go to the bins then the bins must go to the car!! I had to laugh at 'send in De Management' removal company ... pmsl. Take photos of the empty rooms left behind and do your best David Frost impersonation ... who lives in a house like this?

I have a very similar situation. My friend T was with her ex R for 6 yrs. A mutual friend of ours K stole R away from T about 8mths ago. It all came to light that K&R were now together. It all kicked off obviously and T went slightly crazy at them both which resulted in K putting a restraining order on her (this was ridicolous as she only sent 18 text messages and one letter.. hardly harassment in the circumstances).

Anyway at work 2 weeks ago, who should walk in to temp in my building but K. I didnt know what to do with myself. I felt sick. I just looked at her and hoped she would quit but she is a strong little b****** and wont leave. I told my manager that we are ex friends but i will remain professional. She gets in my face everyday and although we do not speak she talks in front of my desk and stuff. All i wanna do is jump up, grab the coat stand near me and throw it at her head but alas i cant !!!!

Definately, get S to meet up with you for lunch and parade S around the car park a while. Make H pee their pants and leave! It will also give satisfaction to S

Or i can lend you my coat stand???

Mammar - You are right.. It's my friends call! I will speak to her but if we had plenty of options and she said 'no, lets leave it' then thats fine. But the fact that we are limited! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Badger chops - How quickly can a courier get a coat stand to me? We have some here but none of them sturdy enough! For now I have a very sharp letter opener!

I am glad someone knows how I feel anyway!

chances are she is completely aware that you are S' mate and will do that classic contractor thing and not come back tomorrow - you can hope!!

Ooooh, also the HR guy came over and was chatting to me about H and how he keeps getting her name wrong and I just happened to let slip that she is a ... now how did I put it? Oh yes... spiteful little cow! I told him the story and now he is calling her a bunny boiler!

if so, you have all her bank details, home address, etc etc

get going on the ordering stuff, set up direct debits to charities etc etc
