When we say 'make me laugh' it's not about being funny and good at comedy.... it's about clicking with someone and making them laugh...

Ok.. I don't happen to find Ken Dodd funny but lets take someone like Ricky Gervais who I do happen to find hysterical.... now while he is funny.. it is scripted and if we sat down and had a conversation, apart from his little scripted quips, we may not click.. I may not find the real Ricky a funny man! But I know guys who are just average Joe's and they absolutely crack me up! They would never be able to be stand up comedians but I find them funny as we click in that way!

I think when you laugh it must release a happy chemical and then you associate that happy feeling with that person!
