Men and periods!!
31 Answers
Whilst putting away the monthly sanitary products I just bought, it occurred to me if my other half would know what to get if I sent him to the shop for some. (And yes, I'm hoping he will submit and answer here! lol) So come on fellas, how many of you would pass this one with flying colours? Do you know what types and brands of products your lady uses?

The only time I sent Mr P out for pads was when I was in hospital having Littlest Pippa. I just told him to get the biggest ones he could find.
I am actually surprised he didn't come back with a pillow ~ but sure enough he had asked an assistant for some suitable for post natal use.
He was just as rubbish buying nappies. I make sure I buy all my sanitary products in bulk.

No pa__ul! You're not supposed to ask! lol Although you might want to for future reference ;)
Why do some men find it such a taboo subject anyway? Your friend sounds like my brother in law raysparks. If I was having a private chat with my sister and he walked in the room, I would say something like "I'm talking about my period" and he would literally run back out of the room! lol

Mr Le Chat would know exactly what type to get. He would even know to get 'wings' for the first couple of days, normal for the next and some thin ones for the last. (A friend of mine died of toxic shock, so I don't use tampons unless completely necessary.) I have never told him anything about my preferance of 'bum sticker' (as I childishly refer to them) but he is a man of observancy and has many woman like qualities, although he is very manly. He would even know what denia stockings to buy, without being told! God, I love that man!!!
My hubby would, he's great with things like this. Instead of just grabbing the first one he see's he will read them and try to decide which ones I would use!!! Nothing phases him.
An ex from way back in my teens wouldn't take a carrier bag from me just because it was a dorothy perkins carrier bag!! He just stood there watching me struggle to find something in my bag saying "No I'm not holding that!"! Soon put me off him!
