Am I supposes to go round extra hugging everbody I like in case they don't make it through the night.
Also did you have a premonition of the death.
Sorry to be cynical but we can't live our lives on the presumption that good friends will be dead in the morning.

Redhead23, sorry to hear that.
One of mine would be when my stepdad offered me 100 for every grade C i got at GCSE, being the teenager I was, I did no work at all.
I luckily got 6 C's, but it was only after that my sister told me my stepdad had taken out a loan to give me the money.
It wasnt at all that I regret not getting the 1100 i could of got, but that i let him down so much when he was trying to help me so much.

Hello red, Don't regret that, your friend will have known how much you thought of him,you must now live your life to the full, make the most of the time you have, do the things you dream of doing, don't dream of doing them. I do wish my mum and dad could come back even for just 5 minutes so I could give them a hug and tell them again how much I loved them, but that will never happen, so please try not to regret, remember the good times and be thankfull you had such a good friend, take care, Ray xxx
Hi red
We all carry lots of baggage with us after we lose someone dear to us. We tend to keep saying "If Only". Well, unfortunately things happen to us all lose family, friends, relatives.
Life has to go on and you cannot change the past. It will get easier with time and I think you are probably still in shock at hearing of his death, especially with him being so young.
A day at a time and it does get easier.

I think that my biggest regrets are making the wrong decisions that were ultimately down to me to get right but I didn't. I try not to regret the things that I couldn't have changed, that is pointless, i know that now. If you try to live your life as best you can and don't step over anyone on the way, you will do ok.
