Apart from thinking that policemen look younger, what makes you feel the weight of advancing years? For me, it is hearing a Slade song and realising it is 30 years old.

This sounds strange, but I'd have to say new born babies! All my life I've only ever been a few years older than people - 10 years old, max. But my friend just had a baby and it dawned on me I'm twenty-one years older than her baby! I still can't get my head 'round it!Also, when the old drunken conversation of kids' TV crops up, if you're talking to people younger than you, they have no idea what programmes you're on about. And vice versa.
I probably shouldn't be answering this today... feeling a bit low (&old)... but I'm with andy h on the robinson c tune...also being pleased that the neighbours are quiet...wanting comfy clothes back on asap...& realising that the cute fella behind the counter is probably young enough to be my son! You 20 somethings are so lucky!
When my knees go off like rifle shots whenever I get out of a chair or push the clutch pedal down in the car. Also, you can't find decent clothes to wear, you can't follow fashion but you look at the collection of shapeless, taupe coloured clothing on offer for your age group and think yyyyyuk has it really come to this (see my posting on the subject) I'm 50 by the way. bizzylizzy
