working hard good for the soul?

i was at my job from 7am to 1pm today, then from 1.30 to 6pm i have been cutting my hedges, is hard work good for the soul and if so how is your soul today?

7am to 1pm! That sounds like part-time work to me Roberto, i was at work for 8am and only finished at 5pm! Only got half and hour for lunch AND I had to help an old lady with deformed toes into a pair of sandals, it was traumatic but you don't find me here complaining! Tut My soul is feeling rebellious too as it happens.

I thoroughly enjoy working hard in the gardens. It always makes me feel good whilst I'm doing it, then when I'm relaxing in the bath afterwards!

I'm what you call a real grafter, apart from when I'm on here & it's certainly good for body, mind & soul!

I've been having a big clear out today. So yes I agree, hard work is very good for the soul.

I think I'd be better suited to a physical job than sitting at a mind numbingly boring computer job !!

7am shout finished work at 6 then went over t'allotment and weeded me beetroot for an hour .
