skanky school mums
35 Answers
There is a good reason why people shouldnt have children and it is to avoid 5 years later the pikey mum types that every school playground seems to be blessed with. Or is it just down here in the soouff !
There must be something like a floating hut in the middle of the sea or the island in Lost that these "mums" can send their snots too?

Shocking, shouldn't be allowed. LOL! Especially those 'mumsy' types that are very overweight, that wear those awful leggins which show every butt-bulge and dimple, and dirty white trainers, with their greasy hair tied back in the same old ponytail.

How come they have kids in the first place ? What man would allow the fruit of their loins to 'breed' with such creatures ? Desperation, they all belong on the Jeremy Kyle show - infact that is all you see on that programme! When do you ever see well dressed, well presented, well spoken people on these shows ?
how very judgemental, so you all normally judge books by the cover then?
my friend is not exactly yummymummy material but she spends most of her time caring for her disabled son and elderly father. she wears crappy clothes (because she seldom has the opportunity to dress up, and being a carer can be a mess job)
I suppose it gives you something to do with your lives...

Sorry, but there is no excuse to look untidy no matter what job you do - one should always tidy oneself up before parading in public.....one afterall has to set an example...a good shower and a squirt of deodorant wold make the post office/job centre queues smell more pleasant - one doesnt have or need to wear smart clothes to look clean and tidy. Its all about self respect.
cazzz i dont think anyone is discussing people like your friend - it is understandable that not everyone can have lovely expensive clothes,I have much admiration for people who care for others etc but EVERYONE can surely make sure that:
they are clean?
not swear like a trooper - esp around kids,
not smoke around children??
You don't need lots of money or time to be tidy and presentable. when i used to go to muck out my horses my m u would never let me go out in dirty clothes - not even for that dirty job!! If i got dirty then fine but i wouldnt leave the house like that!!

You shouldnt be offended Cazz I wasnt refering to those sorts of mums, I sometimes dont have time to apply any slap or boufant my hair before doing the school run...I actually meant those old trouts exactly as Tara described first that as soon as they see someone they know in the playground/street/bingo hall yell at the tops of their voices Ooooiiii Kafffy (add your name here )ow you doin my luv?
Mums thats clearly have nothing better to do than put on a fashion parade at school and marinade in perfume all day - thats another topic !

nannon I see parents that are dripping in designer gear smoking like troopers and swearing at the kids, is it more acceptable because they made the effort to dress up ??
bad parenting comes in all guises, lets not judge a book by the cover, my friend has a heart of gold and is a good parent despite making fashion faux pars

Cazz, yes it is a sweeping generalisation but most ABers who have answered this seem to know what each other is talking about scarily! The generalization is that most of them 'drag' their own broods up, not 'bring' them up ! Like having kids just to get a council house or more benefits off the state - yes to spend on fags and booze.
I'll second that Cazz!
Anyone of these so called 'chavvy' looking women could be really nice people, who happen to love their children & who might not swear!
I always dressed smart for work & when taking my children to school on the way. Then again, I was on a good salary & could afford to dress smart! So, there but for fortune go you or I.
Oh, & remember, at least these Mother's are picking their children up from school & not letting them walk home on their own! Unlike some professionals, who left their 3 children alone in an apartment abroad whilst they went out to eat - say no more........
