It all depends on the medium themselves. I do believe in it all but there are so many fakes out there.
Where are you going to see them? I have been a few times and for different types of readings. The best thing is is to not give anything away if they appear to be fishing for responses. It is easy to get them to say things without realising it.
i think they can be real - i went to a fortune teller person last year - she said some stuff that was very vague like you will receive flowers - you'll slip over, hurt you finger...all has happened but then thats quite likely!
She also said a female member of my family would be diagnosed with cancer but not to panic as she would be fine - two weeks ater my aunty was diagnosed with breast cancer but one month later she had been given the all clear - thank god. She knew about when i was attacked when i wa younger, when i had alopecia. Two men in my life who drank heavily, dad and ex boyf. That the r'ship i was was no good for me and would leave me in debt and scared, my ex owes me 1500 and stalked me for months. She said i would meet someone, name beginning with 'L' who lived a distance from me but would make me happy and that i would relocate and spend new years in trafalger square...my boyf Lee lives in london which is where i'm moving at end of year...i cant doubt it after her saying all that!!
Like psychick says, don`t give anything away and keep an open mind.I was told something by a medium that she couldn`t possibly have known-100% correct, then something else that still hasn`t made sense. Its pretty hit and miss.Don`t go in there expecting to hear something in particular-you`ll be dissappointed. But, you may be told something you`d completely forgotten about.Let us know how you get on.;-)
i have to be honest ...i went to see one for a laugh in blackpool a few years ago and what she told me was unreal!!
as soon as i sat down she told me someone was robbing me, me being funny said " yeah... you" she just looked at me and said "no... be serious.. someone who works for you is taking you for a ride!!"
i shall spare you the details but believe me she was bang on the money!!!!
I do believe . Like Nannon and Rasmus I've been told things that are 100% true of what had happen and even things in the future. I was told that I would divorce after 24 yrs remarry have another girl, all to which I snubbed BUT it did happen.Of course you do get the charlotans ,also some mediums only want to prove existance of the afterlife and dont tell you of any future only things that have passed. Good luck and dont feed the medium by telling anything.
A tarot card reader told me I was pregnant before I'd even told my family - very early stages, so nothing to give the game away! She was reading 6 people at a friend's house, I was 5th. She said the pregnancy showed up in every hand she dealt and the others had all been baffled as to why, but she knew it applied to someone close. When I walked in, she said, "It's you that's pregnant, isn't it?" without even dealing mine!!
There's lots of con artists out here Beechy so I hope yours is a genuine one. If you went to a spiritualist church which is usually just a small hall you would only need to pay 2-3 toward the upkeep of the hall and you get the genuine mediums there. I've had many a good reading over the years at spiritual churches and you know you're not being conned. The last medium brought both my parents through and passed on private messages only known to the family. Many will do this as validation for you. Good luck with your reading. If its a disappointment try a church next time.
I go regulary to see a meduim - and a little bit of advice - the real ones don't charge as they don't believe in taking money for services to help people! So if you are paying to see this medium then it is fake!
The medium i go to see doesn't charge and neither do alot of mediums, all they normally ask for if you really want to give them money is a donation in their charity box.
But as to what to expect, the first time i ever went i got very emotional but it was nice and she was very understanding! Now i go every 4/6 months as recommended, and i don't think i would stop going.
