I know its late to post this type of sensible question, and am leaving myself open to stupid replies. But what are the signs?

I have had 2 -I have to say if you or someone you know are experiencing feelings which make you think its could be a nervous breakdown -my heart goes out to you.The only consolation I can give from my own personal experience is that when you hit that low the only way is up -its almost a blessed relief.
The inability to cope,insomnia,panic attacks,not wanting to interact with even members of your own family,feeling safe only in your own home,extreme anxiety,...that is just a soupcon of my own symptoms.
Please anyone who feels that way -do visit your GP -they can help in the interim and then once the edge has been taken off -they can help in the long term.
You will get there in the end -promise.

Perhaps, Trinny, you're reading too much from your present emotions. Could be you are just slightly upset, or even depressed, regarding some situation in your life right now. These 'situations' do disappear as time goes by and the emotional 'baggage' also trails away. I guess i really can't help you, but I thought I would respond. Hope things work out.
