Morning Panic , just look on it as a bonus of maturity.
I have some stray silver appearing here and there and my son says I am just getting my metalic silver upgrade. x
Morning warpig :-) xx
Yes Katie, there was a guy where I used to work who dyed his hair and everytime I saw him I just thought 'why'. It was so obvious and it didn't take years off him in any way, shape or form, to be honest it made him a figure of fun and ridicule (behind his back of course).
I cannot believe you came on here at 6.01 and posted :-) Maybe you need more sleep and you wont go grey lol. Dont try just for men there is nothing wrong with a silver fox. and redcrx I think its because he asks hairdresser to cut the grey out. :-)
My hubbys family all go prem. grey and my 27 year old son has quite a few greys hairs already. My hubby used to say he was dark until he married me. He did use Just for Men - once -and it was the most prolonged embarrassment he ever suffered. (OK I confess to having a bit of fun at his expense too.) The change is no way subtle - dont do it!!!
For years he daily used a lotion similar to Grecian which kept some colour. It contained lead so I persuaded him to stop. I blame the lead intake for his current mental state actually!!.
Now 56 and happily resigned to being grey, he has had many compliments on what is actually a full head of short pure white hair.
Men dying their hair or sideburns is a big no, no, for me!
Even worse are men who dye their beards or moustaches! I think they look positively ridiculous - I mean just look at Tom Jones for starters! Good voice though!
I think Phillip Schofield, Paul O'Grady & Paul Newman have the right idea! Naturally grey, but still successful....
I agree that grey hair looks good on blokes, I wouldn't worry. If you're in your late forties and only seeing the beginnings of grey hair, I'd say you're doing pretty darn well.
